Administration Assistant job summary
Administration Assistant
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm. Additional hours may be required.
Weeks: 190 days per year (37.6 weeks of school term time plus 2 days)
Holiday: Pro rata entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays taken during periods of school closure
Salary: Orbis pay scale 7-10 (£24,310 - £25,444FTE), actual pro rata salary £20,564.29 - £21,523.08
Pension: Generous local government pension scheme from day 1 of employment

The responsibilities of the role will range from assisting in planning and executing leadership diaries and events to supporting project management and data analysis software. The role is varied and fast-paced, so you’ll need to be adaptable and organised.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, with excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. The role will require someone who is confident at managing data and will need to familiarise themselves with the project management software.
