Administration Assistant job summary

Temple Mill Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Administration Assistant to join the Office Admin team, to start from April 2026.

The successful candidate will support the smooth day-to-day running of the school. You will act as the first point of contact, providing efficient admin support to staff, maintaining pupil records and attendance data, managing communications and diaries, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.

This is a full time, permanent role, Term Time +3 weeks, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £22,673 - £25,335 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday- Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
