Administration Officer job summary

Riverbank Academy currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Office Administrator to join the team.

You’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive, efficient, and procedural administrative support, ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of daily administrative routines and the accurate maintenance of school records and core systems.

Working hours:

8:00 to 4:00 - Monday to Thursday

8:00 to 3:30 - Friday

Job requirements


  • Good standard of general education (e.g., GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of data protection principles,particularly GDPR, relating to the handling of confidential pupil/staff information
  • Finance Awareness of basic financial procedures, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and managing petty cash/small sums of money
  • Organisational Skills - Excellent ability to organise and prioritise a high-volume, varied daily workload and manage frequent interruptions effectively within a procedural framework
  • Professional, clear, and articulate communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively exchange routine information with internal and external contacts (e.g., parents, staff, suppliers).
  • Proven ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and integrity in data input, financial transactions, and record-keeping.
