Administration Support Assistant job summary

28 hours a week - Term Time plus 2 weeks during summer holidays

Monday - Thursday: 9.00 a.m. to 3.45 p.m. (1 hour lunch break)

Friday - 8.00 am to 1.00 p.m. (Hours negotiable over 5 days)

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and fast-paced administrative team where your contribution will directly support teaching, learning, and day-to-day school operations.

Your new role

As an Administration Support Assistant, you will provide a broad range of administrative support. Your responsibilities will include word processing, proofreading letters and emails to parents, completing accurate mail merges, updating the online school newsletter and ordering stationery. You will also respond to general telephone enquiries, manage messages and assist with additional administration duties when required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you demonstrate:

  • excellent typing and computer skills
  • excellent proof reading and re-drafting skills
  • excellent administration and IT skills
  • excellent Numeracy and Literacy Skills
  • excellent organisational and communication skills
  • excellent telephone manner

You will also bring previous administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
