Administrative Assistant job summary

Required from September 2025

This is a part-time role – 2 days per week (some flexibility with days - Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday preferred)

Hours of work: 8am – 4pm term-time only

Salary: Support Staff Grade 3 (Actual Salary £8077 per year)

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant. You will be part of a small and friendly office team and your role will be busy and varied. Your work will include reception duties, greeting visitors, answering emails and telephone calls, inputting attendance and school lunch orders, managing pupil records including admissions data, overseeing arrangements for school trips and after school clubs plus general office duties.

The ideal candidate:

  • A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above
  • Experience of working in a school or office environment
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
