Administrator job summary

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and committed administrator to provide inclusion support to the Inclusion Team at Tuxford Academy. This is a rewarding and varied role that sits at the heart of our student support provision, ensuring that students with SEND and additional needs receive the support required to achieve their full potential.

Working closely with the SENDCO, pastoral teams, families and external agencies, you will support the administration and coordination of SEND, safeguarding and inclusion processes across the academy. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator with excellent organisational skills, able to manage sensitive information and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
  • Has strong organisational skills and can effectively manage competing priorities, deadlines and statutory processes.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally with parents, carers, staff, students and external agencies.
  • Is able to coordinate meetings, reviews and follow-up actions, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and produces clear, accurate documentation, reports and correspondence.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and digital management systems to maintain and analyse information.
  • Can work independently, use initiative and identify practical solutions to support students and colleagues.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection within an educational environment.
  • Shares our commitment to inclusion and helping every student access the support they need to succeed.

Previous experience supporting SEND provision, assisting with aspects of SENCO administration, and liaising with parents, carers and external professionals would be desirable. However, we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills together with a professional and proactive approach.
