After School Care Assistant job summary

Join Our After School Care Team!We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable After School Care Assistant to help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children aged 4 to 11 years. Working as part of our dedicated team, you will support a range of fun, creative and inclusive activities, helping children learn, develop and enjoy their time after school. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children and committed to promoting their wellbeing, safety and happiness. You will supervise activities, encourage positive behaviour, build positive relationships with children and families, and contribute to a high-quality childcare provision. We are seeking individuals who can work effectively as part of a team, communicate confidently with children and adults, and act as positive role models. Previous experience working with children is desirable, but we also welcome applications from those with the right attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's development through play and activity. Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm to 4:45pm (7.5 hours per week). For candidates looking for additional contracted hours, the role can be extended until 6:00pm, increasing the contract to 13.75 hours per week.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's after-school experiences in a friendly and supportive environment.
