Place of work: St Matthews CofE Primary & Nursery Academy, Peregrine Rd, Derriford, Plymouth, PL65FN

Contract Term: Permanent

Hours: 13 hours per week - Mondays - Thursdays 3:30pm - 6pm, Fridays 3pm - 6pm

Salary: Grade SC2 NJC SCP 4 - 7 actual starting salary £7,696 (FTE £26,016)

Term Time only: 38 weeks per annum

Annual Leave: Taken outside of term time and paid pro-rata throughout the year (no annual leave to be taken during term time)

Benefits: Local Government Pension Scheme

The school is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 21 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, with experience of working with children in an education setting and confident supervising a team. If you can provide a nourishing environment for our pupils, with the ability to maintain a positive and caring approach and an appreciation of the differing needs and abilities of primary age children, then we would love to hear from you.
