About the role:
We have 2 vacancies for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant.
Candidates should be passionate about working with children and have a real desire to improve standards of learning in school. The role involves providing valuable, practical assistance to class teachers in the classroom, and in extracurricular activities.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible individual who can communicate effectively with both children and adults. Candidates should be comfortable working with children aged between 7 and 11 years old and may be required to work in any Year Group within the school. The role will be a combination of classroom work and working outside during lunchtimes, break times and before/after school activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has ambitions to work with children and is enthusiastic about helping children learn. You will be supported by a hardworking and committed team.
Alexandra Park Junior School
Alexandra Park Junior School serves around 360, Key Stage 2 pupils in the Glodwick area of Oldham. It also provides a Key Stage 2 education for pupils from 7 years of age. Alexandra Park Junior School become an academy and joined The Pinnacle Learning Trust from 1st April 2024. This has been very positively received by staff and the school’s local community.
