What skills and experience we're looking for

  • You’ll hold a Level 1 catering qualification and/or equivalent experience working in a kitchen/catering environment preparing, cooking and serving meals
  • You enjoy working with food and take pride in what you do
  • You’re used to working to strict deadlines to plan day-to-day activities, but within established routines, within the budget available and guidelines on nutritional content
  • You’re a team player who’s happy to lend a hand wherever needed
  • You’re happy to use a range of kitchen and food preparation equipment
  • You understand the importance of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
  • Most of all—you care. You want to work somewhere that makes a real difference, every single day

£24,507 per annum pro rata for term time, part time hours – actual salary £14,170 per annum. Plus generous pension and sick pay scheme.
