What skills and experience we're looking for
Role
- Supporting the Headteacher with the day-to-day management of the school and deputising as required.
- Raising standards through effective leadership of our raising achievement strategy.
- Leadership of key faculties within the TLR & line management accountability structures across the school.
Key responsibilities
- Implementation of Kings Heath Secondary Teaching & Learning strategy across all aspects of the school curriculum
- Research groups, T&L innovation and direction including sharing of best practice
- Kings Heath Expectations for Learning as part of our positive discipline for Learning Policy
- Assessment, standardisation and moderation
- Support with teacher appraisal
- Development of school website, home learning strategy
- Implementation of marking and feedback policy
- Planning of INSET days
