What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Appropriate qualifications for the role (AAT level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a public sector or education setting
  • Experience of working to deadlines and managing conflicting priorities
  • Experience using computerised packages for financial administration, including Microsoft suite of packages
  • Sound understanding of accounting concepts and their application in a complex set of management accounts
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records
