What skills and experience we're looking for
Following a review of our Learning Support Department, we are seeking to appoint two highly motivated, committed and talented teachers to support the SENCo in leading and managing the provision for students with Special Educational Needs at King Edward VI School. The successful candidates will be excellent practitioners with a proven track record of inclusive classroom practice and the ability to model good practice to other staff.
We are looking for an emerging leader with a pro-active approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting young people with additional needs. The role is varied and will require the versatility to work with all stakeholders, developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external agencies.
Candidates will contribute to teaching across the school, with time made available to carry out their duties
as assistant SENCo.
