What skills and experience we're looking for
Ordsall Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Associate Professional (Teaching Assistant) to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to making a positive difference every day. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The role will involve delivering a daily Read Write Inc. phonics session, supporting small groups of children, providing classroom support and undertaking regular classroom cover across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will therefore need to be adaptable, organised and confident working with pupils across a range of ages and abilities.
