Attendance Administrator job summary

Term-time only + Training Days. Part time, 20 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9am-1pm.

We are seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive individual to join our team and play a key role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality. Working closely with students, families, pastoral staff and senior leaders, you will help ensure that attendance is monitored effectively, concerns are identified promptly and appropriate support is put in place to enable every student to access their education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of attendance processes, maintaining accurate records through Arbor, communicating with parents and carers, producing attendance reports and supporting interventions that improve attendance outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that students are in school, ready to learn and able to achieve their full potential.

About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

  • Able to maintain accurate attendance records and ensure data is processed efficiently and accurately
  • Confident in building positive relationships with students, families, staff and external agencies, communicating clearly, professionally and with empathy
  • Able to identify concerns early, take appropriate action and work collaboratively with colleagues to support improvements in attendance and punctuality
