Attendance Officer job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Attendance Officer to support student engagement and wellbeing by promoting excellent attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will monitor daily attendance, follow up absences, work closely with families and staff, and maintain accurate records in line with school policies. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safeguarding young people are essential.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
Has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential
Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils
Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
Has experience of working in a similar school
