OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENCE SEPTEMBER 2026

Are you looking for a step into senior leadership?

THE CLIFF FEDERATION IS LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC, BRAVE AND INSPIRING

BASE LEADER / SENIOR TEACHER

to assume responsibility for the Willoughton Primary School site in the absence of the Headteacher (who works between the federated schools).

We have an exciting opportunity for secondment into leadership, owing to the relocation of our current Base Leader. This would suit an ambitious middle leader or somebody with senior leadership experience, who has the skillset, drive and tenacity to take on the responsibility of this role.

We are looking for someone who will be ambitious for our school and put the children at the centre of everything they do. This person must have kindness by the abundance and an ability to build warm and positive relationships with all who they meet. They must be hardworking, passionate and able to lead by example. Ideally, the teaching commitment will be in the Y5/6 mixed class but this will be dependent on the candidate’s experience.

Our creative curriculum and climate for learning inspires our children to achieve their very best academically. We’re excited for our new Base Leader to demonstrate our values of: Courage, Excellence, Determination, Respect, Inspiration and Compassion

Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed. The headteacher looks forward to meeting you and giving you a tour of our much-loved school.
