What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and resilient Behaviour Mentor, to join our Behaviour Team at St Cuthbert Mayne.

In this role, you will:

Support students who have been removed from their lesson because their behaviour does not meet our high classroom expectations.
Work with students returning from a suspension to support their reintegration back into their timetabled lessons.
Re-engage students with the curriculum so they don’t fall behind with their learning
Monitor the school’s behaviour activity feed and liaise with the Behaviour Team Lead and Pastoral Staff.
Create and maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment within the Behaviour Centre

What the school offers its staff

St Cuthbert Mayne School is a Joint Roman Catholic & Church of England School that welcomes all students from across Torbay and South Devon, regardless of their faith background. There are currently over 1000 students on roll and the school is growing in size year on year. The teaching accommodation is of mixed age but well-resourced and maintained. The final phase of our exciting building project started last September and will be completed by the end of the summer term.
