Breakfast Club Assistant job summary

Monday to Friday- 5 hours in total One hour per day-7.30- 8.30 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming children to Breakfast Club and supporting them in a friendly and caring manner
  • Preparing and serving simple breakfast items
  • Setting up and clearing the dining/club area
  • Supervising children to ensure a safe, calm and enjoyable environment
  • Supporting play, social activities and positive behaviour
  • Following school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety

  • Is warm, patient and approachable
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Is reliable and organised
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Has experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable, but not essential—training provided)
