Bridge Manager job summary

1.To1.To manage and work as gatekeeper for the Bridge.

2.To support students re-integrating back into school, working creatively and collaboratively with Pastoral Staff to enable students to overcome their barriers to learning

3.Develop re-integration packages under the direction of the Senior Year Leader and in conjunction with the Pastoral Team to support pupils experiencing anxiety relating to school attendance

4.To liaise with teachers over suitable subject specific work for students accessing the Bridge.

5.Produce work resources for students in Bridge including anger management, behaviour management and social skills and resilience.

6.Plan the work for all students in Bridge and updating update lesson plans as required.

7.Provide suitably differentiated and appropriate work for SEN students in Bridge.

8.Supervise all students within The Bridge and co-ordinate lesson attendance for each Bridge student and liaise with the attendance team throughout the day.

9.Keep the Bridge timetable up to date weekly and distribute to colleagues accordingly.

10.Produce individual timetables for students on reduced hours and ensure relevant staff and the attendance team have copies.

11.To support the Pastoral Team to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups and to be responsible for the administration of special needs procedures.

12.To administer and assess routine tests and invigilate exams and tests when appropriate.
