Business Support and Finance Co-Ordinator job summary

Are you interested in a role that supports the management of a variety of essential functions and schools across our Trust, while being a key contact for parents and students on financial matters?

We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school’s financial and administrative operations. Working closely with the School Business Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining effective business systems, and contributing to the efficient management of resources across the school. The successful candidate will be supported by the Senior Finance Assistant(s) and the Trust Business Manager, working as part of our dedicated central finance team.

  • Good organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good financial awareness and attention to detail, with an understanding of finance and accurate record keeping.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative and find practical solutions.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work well with parents, students and colleagues.
  • A positive and flexible team player, committed to supporting the central finance team and Trust schools.

The salary for this post is APT&C points 16 - 20 plus London Fringe, paid pro-rata and based on experience. Full-time figures are £30,518pa - £32,597pa + £1045pa and the actual pro-rata salary range is £18,112pa - £19,346pa + £620pa.
