Hours: 37.5per week, 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
Contract type: Permanent
Term time plus: 38 school weeks plus training days and two weeks flexible/holiday working
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to join us as our Careers Lead & Work Experience Facilitator this is a key role at Cornerstone, with responsibility for leading the Academy’s careers education, information, advice & guidance programme in liaison with our independent careers adviser and organising and facilitating all aspects of Year 10 Work Experience. This role has a high level of autonomy so would suit a candidate with a proactive and flexible approach and a passion for student progression and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- An aptitude for delivering presentations to groups
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines
Previous education experience or industry linked careers experience would be an desirable but not an essential as training and support will be provided.
