Caretaker job summary
We are seeking a reliable, proactive and practical Caretaker to join our friendly team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
Working closely with the Office & Premises Manager, you will help ensure our buildings and grounds are well maintained, compliant with health and safety requirements, and ready for learning each day. Duties include opening the school, carrying out routine inspections and statutory compliance checks, undertaking minor maintenance and repairs, supporting contractors, maintaining the grounds, and helping prepare the school for events and daily activities.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in high standards, and has a practical approach to problem-solving. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the day-to-day running of our school.
