About this Role
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to support serving of students in break and lunch times in our canteen. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to work in our busy school kitchen, preparing meals for our students and for delivery to other schools. This role is for 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10am to 2.30pm.
The role will include food preparation, operation of a computerised till system, washing/clearing up and driving meals to other Academies. You will ensure the safety, general welfare and conduct of pupils during the break period. You will also assist with basic cleaning and general duties in and around dining areas.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to; relate to children and adults, to work as part of a team and to conduct a positive attitude in the workplace.
The successful candidate will be someone who is hard-working, well-organised and committed to working as part of a team.
