The Pioneer Academy are looking for a Central Finance Manager to join their growing finance team, this role will cover our four schools in our Bexley Region and you will work as part of a team with a Central School Business Manager. This role is fixed term until Summer 2025, full time, 36 hours per week working Monday to Friday. This is a on-site role working to a timetable with your team to ensure schools have support each day.
For internal applications from existing staff, this role would be as a secondment until Summer term 2025, please send a letter of interest to the recruitment team.
Main Purpose
- Ensuring effective operation of the finance function of the school
- Assisting the Head of Business with all aspects of the development of school finances
- Ensuring the safe receipt and handling of cash and the reconciliation of transactions.
- Co-ordinating and completing administrative routines relating to orders, invoices, cheques, income, payroll and the receipt and distribution of goods and services
