What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an inspirational, innovative, and outstanding leader to join us and help shape the next chapter of our schools journey. We are seeking a headteacher who is passionate about learning and teaching, and has the drive and commitment to inspire and enthuse our children, staff and parents. They will have a whole-hearted commitment to excellence in education, and be in sympathy with our foundation as a Church of England School. They will be a spiritual leader who will support and further develop our Christian ethos, working with the Diocese and our local clergy, building on positive, collaborative, relationships across our local community. We will provide a strong, experienced and welcoming staff team, committed and skilful Governing Body and wonderful children who flourish in the atmosphere of engaging, exciting learning opportunities in our beautiful surroundings.

This role offers a wonderful opportunity to make a truly meaningful difference—shaping the educational experience of every child while sustaining the distinctive character of our school. One of the greatest joys of leading a small school is that every child, every family and every member of staff is truly known and cared for. At Holy Trinity, this deep sense of connection lies at the heart of who we are, enabling all to thriveand live a life in all its fullness.

What the school offers its staff

Holy Trinity is a thriving, well-respected and sought-after Single Academy Trust located in the picturesque village of Great Cheverell, in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Our school consistently performs within the top few percent of primary schools nationally in statutory assessments, while also delivering a creative, ambitious, broad and engaging curriculum that nurtures the whole child.

At Holy Trinity, children are at the heart of every decision we make. Our Christian values of compassion, courage, aspiration and joy are lived out daily by our pupils, staff and governors, shaping a community where every individual is valued and encouraged to flourish.

What We Offer

  • A strong, experienced and welcoming staff team who are passionate about teaching and learning.
  • A committed, skilful and supportive Governing Body.
  • Wonderful, motivated children who thrive in an atmosphere of excitement, curiosity and challenge.
  • Strong home/school partnership.
  • Beautiful surroundings that enrich learning and wellbeing.
  • A culture that values creativity, inclusivity and academic excellence.
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within a forward-thinking academy.

If you are enthusiastic, dedicated and eager to contribute to an exceptional school community, Holy Trinity could be the perfect place for you.
