As a teacher starting out in their careerat Marden Primary Academy, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced educators, receive tailored professional development, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. If you will be joining us as an ECT wewill provide:

  • Weekly collaborative planning with your year group partner.
  • Weekly ECT release time.
  • Weekly mentor meetings with an experienced mentor.
  • Access to a wide range of CPD opportunities.
  • Support from experienced subject leaders in school and across the Trust.
  • A Chromebook to use for school work.
  • The opportunity to work in a recently refurbished school building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Participate in school-wide events and initiatives to contribute to the vibrant school community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (or currently pursuing one).
  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards obtaining QTS.
  • Has a passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward thinking
  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
  • Is able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors

Significant proposed housing development in the local area means that there is genuine potential for future expansion.
