Class Teacher KS2 job summary
We are a hard working team, where staff at all
levels are encouraged to develop themselves and be the best they can be, in a
supportive environment that is focused on a coaching and mentoring approach.
All staff have access to our Employee Assistance Programme as well as a very
supportive SLT team.
We are a Church of England school, where our
Christian values and ethos are embedded in all aspects of the curriculum we
offer. However, we welcome applications from teachers of all or no faith,
who can positively support our Christian ethos.
We have an opportunity for a practitioner to
teach a KS2 class who has knowledge and understanding of raising
attainment for all pupils through excellent practice and high
expectations. We can offer quality CPD, to develop practice, and help you
reach the next stage in your career, in an environment where both strategic
thinking and creativity is valued equally.
The post is offered on a maternity cover basis
until 31st August 2024.

Payments Modification Order which applies, for the purposes of occupational
entitlements, for example to sick pay or maternity pay, the Trust does not
recognise continuous or aggregated service with other academy trusts or with
local authorities.
Verification of successful
completion of statutory induction period (applies to those who obtained QTS
after 7th May 1999)

Churchfield CE Academy is part of the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust and we were graded Good at our Ofsted Inspection in November 2018 . We have a Foundation Stage Unit with a standard entry number of 45 in both Nursery and Reception.
