Class Teacher and Inclusion Lead job summary

The school is looking to appoint a child centered, creative, inspiring and passionate Class Teacher to join our fantastic team.
The role will include teaching in Key Stage 2 and leading Inclusion across the school. As a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team, there will be designated time out of class to carry out responsibilities, including the role of SENCO. The successful candidate will work within, and contribute towards, our strong Catholic ethos and strive to enable every child to reach their own unique, God given potential.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
A commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school
High expectations and the belief that all children can succeed and make good progress
A passion for children’s learning and development
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team and to deploy other adults effectively
A sense of humour and empathy with children of this age, a caring personality and confidential nature

Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust is a large Catholic Multi Academy Trust situated in the northern half of the Catholic Diocese of Northampton.
