What skills and experience we're looking for

The ideal candidate would have experience of working in both specialist and mainstream settings; although our priority is to appoint the right teacher for this position and so all previous experience, skills and qualities will all be considered. All children within the unit will have an EHCP and so experience of attending reviews and supporting children with high needs is essential.

We aim to inspire our children to find their talents and their passion to learn through a broad and balanced curriculum. Applications are therefore welcomed from highly motivated teachers who are keen to work with the children within the ERB and across the school, providing an exceptional education and supporting our children to achieve their best.

The new ERB will have a cohort of 10 children joining in EYFS, and most will remain in that class during their primary school journey, with the possibility of accessing some mainstream lessons when they are ready.

The successful candidate will be part of the exciting journey of setting up the new base with the support of experienced colleagues who have already made that journey.
