Kildwick C of E Primary School is a Church of England voluntary controlled school which means it is a church foundation.
It is controlled and funded by the Local Education Authority (LA) and It is a co-educational day school which caters for boys and girls of four to eleven years.
The school is situated in the village of Kildwick, between Skipton and Keighley, overlooking the Aire Valley. It is housed in Victorian buildings and is adjacent to the parish church, St. Andrews.
In January 2011, the school underwent major refurbishment to create additional classrooms as well as a kitchen where school dinners are prepared daily. We now have five classrooms, four of which are mixed age classes. There is a playground to the front of the school and a playing field across the road which is used for PE, sporting events, clubs and play times.
Although the school primarily serves the communities of Kildwick and Farnhill, it does attract a number of children from other areas. There are currently 141 pupils on role at the school.
