What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated class teacher for KS1 or KS2 from September 2026 to join our ambitious and hardworking team. Please make it clear on your application form which phase of school you are applying for.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Is committed to contributing to the life of the school, supporting and promoting our Christian ethos in a meaningful and inclusive way.
    • Brings energy, passion and purpose to their role, and is wholeheartedly committed to improving outcomes for every child in our school.

    • Is enthusiastic, hardworking and well-organised, with a clear commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

    • Has the creativity and drive to deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that inspire children, nurture curiosity and support them to think independently within a safe and welcoming environment.

    • Values relationships at the heart of education, building strong, positive connections with children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community.

    • Thrives as part of a team, bringing a collaborative spirit, a willingness to contribute and a readiness to “get stuck in”.

    • Has experience of teaching in KS1 or KS2, with a secure understanding of effective classroom practice.

What the school offers its staff

This is a genuinely exciting time to join us. We are working towards becoming part of Enhance Academy Trust — a family of schools united by Christian values, high expectations, and a shared commitment to ensuring every child has the best possible chance. Enhance Trust actively supports academies in retaining their individual identity and responding to the specific needs of their community, so everything that makes our school special will remain at its heart. While exact timelines are still to be confirmed, this transition is underway and forms an important part of our vision for the future.

We can offer:

    • A genuinely warm, friendly and supportive staff team, where people look out for one another and work together with purpose and care.

    • Wonderful children who are eager to learn, curious, enthusiastic and a joy to teach.

    • An exciting new chapter in our school’s journey, as we join Enhance Academy Trust — a partnership built on high expectations, a strong Christian ethos, and a belief in earned autonomy, ensuring we retain our unique identity and close community feel. This brings rich opportunities for collaboration, high-quality professional development and clear pathways for career progression.

    • A committed and supportive governing body, who are actively involved in school life and share our ambition for continued improvement.

    • A strong commitment to your professional growth, with opportunities to develop your skills, take on new challenges and progress in your career.
