What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a passionate teacher with a love for inspiring young learners and shaping bright futures? The Governors of Mellor Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher on a fixed term 1 year contract.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who can inspire children through creative, inclusive teaching and who have a particular interest in maths, science and/or modern foreign languages (MFL).

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is an enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner with experience of teaching in KS2
  • Has a genuine passion for helping children to flourish and succeed
  • Shares our belief in Making People Shine and values wellbeing as a foundation for great learning
  • Brings creativity, positivity, and a love for teaching and learning
  • Has particular interests in maths, science and/or modern foreign languages (MFL), and enjoys enriching the curriculum through these areas
  • Is keen to make a wider contribution to school life and curriculum development
  • Can engage and inspire pupils, creating memorable learning experiences that last a lifetime
  • Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment
