  • Hold high expectations and a positive mind-set - believing that children 'can'
  • Be committed to developing the 'whole child'

Further details about the role

Would you like to work in a rewarding school, where the smallest things make a big difference? We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic classroom practitioner, to start in September 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter, who is passionate about giving our children the best possible start.

We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers, who are keen to get their career off to an exciting start, and more experienced/recently qualified teachers looking for a new challenge. It is an interesting time to join our school following the fairly recent appointment of the school's Headteacher. The school is undergoing a process of transformative change and developing a new vision, renewing its ethos and implementing many fresh ideas and policies. Contact the school to arrange a visit - only by visiting will you realise the 'sleeping giant' that is Victoria Community School

Commitment to safeguarding

This School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
