Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Cleaner. This role will be based at St Augustine's Catholic High School. This is a part-time position, working 16 hours per week, term time plus 10 days non-term time (40 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
  • Be responsible for cleaning specified areas of the school to the required standard, as instructed.
  • Be able to operate equipment and use materials effectively.
  • Understand and follow procedures, work to straightforward instructions, and read labels accurately.
  • Be capable of understanding and operating within regulations.
  • Be able to identify straightforward solutions to simple problems, such as improving working methods or rearranging cleaning schedules.
  • Be able to exchange straightforward information with colleagues and users.
  • Empty bins and removal of rubbish.

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School was established in 1974 by the Archdiocese of Birmingham to serve the needs of Catholic families living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas and families of all beliefs.
