Cleaner job summary

We are looking for a reliable, diligent and enthusiastic person to work as part of our cleaning team. With the team, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the school premises, ensuring the children and staff can enjoy the learning environments.

This position will be working 12.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri, 3pm – 5.30pm). You will be working during school term time, plus 4 weeks in the school holidays. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

About you:

Working under the direction of the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the academy, individually or as part of a team, to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

You will need to provide an outstanding service and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. You will also have an awareness of health and safety responsibilities and an eagerness to gain experience and to participate in staff training as and when required.

The closing date for applications is 8 November 2024 with interviews to take place soon after.
