What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be:-
- motivated and keen to be part of a strong team
- able to work flexibly and under the direction of the Site Manager / School Business Manager
- will bring a sense of enthusiasm, energy and passion for the role.
Main duties:
- To carry out designated cleaning of areas of school as specified in accordance with the School’s standards and methods of schedules.
- To ensure the school premises are in a safe/clean and tidy condition.
- To notify the Site Manager of any general maintenance issues.
- To carry out deep cleaning during recess hours which will take place during school holidays as agreed with School Business Manager.
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
- Appreciate and support the role of other professionals.
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
- Attend training as required.
- Any other relevant duties commensurate with the post.
