Cleaner job summary
UALS is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to provide a professional on-site cleaning service for a designated area. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all staff, visitors, and pupils.
Your main responsibilities will include cleaning tasks outlined in a local schedule of work, such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and carrying out wet work duties as required. You will ensure that all cleaning is completed to the County Council’s current standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
The role also involves the safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning materials and equipment. You will be expected to report promptly to your supervisor with any issues with equipment, supplies, or areas that require additional attention.
This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures. A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment are essential.
