Cleaning Operative

10 hours a week (6-8am Monday to Friday)


St George’s CE Academy is a successful primary school situated in the village of Middleton St George on the outskirts of Darlington. We are part of the Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Learning Trust.

We are seeking to appoint a cleaning operative to join our team.


We are looking for a Cleaner who:

will uphold and promote our Christian ethos

will ensure that our high standards of cleanliness in school are met

will comply with our health and safety policies, including COSHH regulations

is able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and academy councillors

We were inspected by Ofsted in February 2023 and were judged to be Good in all areas.
