What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Broad, generalist understanding of Multi Academy Trusts or educational settings
- Ongoing commitment to professional development
- Experience in a professional administrative, marketing, or project coordination role—ideally within the wider education, local authority, non-profit, or training sector.
- Experience using digital communication platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, website CMS, and video conferencing tools like Zoom/Teams).
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

NEAT Academy Trust is seeking an organised, proactive, and creative Communications and Administration Manager to drive operations across our two regional hubs: Tyneside Early Years Practice Hub (0.7 FTE) and Newcastle Research School (0.3 FTE).
Our Tyneside Early Years Practice Hub is aDfE-designated regional hub working directly with early years settings, local authorities, and childminders to share evidence-based best practices, build peer networks, and improve outcomes for young children.
Newcastle Research School, part of the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) Research Schools Network, takes a role in supporting a school-led system as part of a dynamic network across the country. Our aim is to help improve the quality of teaching by getting more teachers to use academic research in ways that make a difference in the classroom.
