In this varied role, you will step into lessons across both the primary and secondary phases, ensuring learning continues smoothly and pupils remain engaged in line with our school’s vision and values.

Alongside classroom cover, you will also play an active part in wider school life, from supervising pupils at break and lunchtime to assisting with resources, exam invigilation and supporting small groups or individual learners.

No two days will be the same, and the role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across all age ranges.

If you are adaptable, organised and committed to helping pupils thrive, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Please note that we may close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, we'd encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

  • Deliver set work, maintain order, register attendance, and ensure students have the correct resources and equipment.
  • Undertake additional administrative or supervisory tasks when not required in class, contributing to the smooth running of the school.
  • To implement school policies and procedures; for Climate for Learning, registration, health and safety etc.

What are we looking for?

  • Educated to at least Level 2 (A*-C GCSE) – including in English and mathematics
  • Good knowledge and skills in the use of ICT/Technology
  • An ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • An ability to work creatively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
