Data and Exams Officer job summary

As a Data & Exams Officer at King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool, you will play a crucial role in managing student data, assessments, and examinations. Your work will directly support school leadership, teachers, and students by ensuring accurate and timely information is available to drive student progress while maintaining compliance with exam regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Management & Reporting:

    • Maintain and manage Bromcom, the school’s data system.
    • Set up and manage staff profiles and user accounts.
    • Provide reports on student performance, attendance, and behaviour.
    • Ensure secure and accurate data transfer between the school, local authorities, and external bodies.
    • Exams Administration:

      • Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of internal and external examinations.
      • Ensure compliance with exam board (JCQ) regulations.
      • Manage exam timetables, room allocations, and invigilation.
      • Support students with special exam access arrangements in collaboration with the SEN team.
      • Handle exam results processing and post-exam services, such as re-marks or appeals.
      • Assessment & Timetabling:

        • Manage student assessment data, ensuring accuracy in grading and reporting.
        • Support the collection and analysis of assessment results for school improvement.
        • Assist with timetable management, including student-set allocations and subject options.
        • Compliance & School Census:

          • Ensure the school meets official reporting requirements, including census submissions to the Department for Education (DfE).
          • Address any data errors or issues flagged during submissions.
