Salary: Thurrock Band D - Point 20-25 (£30,202.16 - £34,278.72 actual salary per annum)

37 hours per week - 8.00am - 4.00pm (Monday-Thursday) 8.00am - 3.30pm (Friday) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break

39 working weeks per year - term time plus inset days, plus 1 additional week to be worked in August for GCSE results

We’re looking for a Data Support Manager to play a key role in ensuring our school’s data is accurate, meaningful and used to drive achievement. Working closely with the Trust Data Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be at the heart of how we record, manage and share pupil information — helping staff make informed decisions that genuinely impact young people’s lives.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and maintaining our MIS and assessment systems
  • Collating, checking and analysing pupil data to support teaching and planning
  • Supporting staff with data use, reporting and target setting
  • Overseeing baseline data, census processes and end-of-year MIS procedures
  • Producing high‑quality reports for parents, staff and governors
  • Working with the Exams Officer on essential data and results analysis

  • You’ll be someone who is:
  • Confident with data, detail‑focused and highly organised
  • Experienced in school office or administrative work
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
  • Able to communicate clearly with staff, students and families
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage your own workload

Thames Park Secondary School. opened to Year 7 pupils in central Grays in September 2020 as a brand new school. Grays is a vibrant, dynamic, rewarding and inspiring place to work, and enjoys excellent transport links. The area is undergoing large scale redevelopment in Europe as part of the Thames Gateway Development. We are part of a £20+ million building programme and will have excellent, purpose-built accommodation with state of the art specialist equipment and facilities in September 2022. We are the newest school in the Osborne Co-operative Academies Trust which comprises of 12 schools.
