What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a school leader who:

  • Has experience of senior leadership and can demonstrate leadership skills that motivate and inspire staff to achieve the highest standards of achievement for all children
  • Has experience and knowledge of working across the primary school age range, including early years
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and will use these to continue to raise the profile of the school and further integrate it into the wider community
  • Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion, with particular regard to SEND, EAL and Pupil Premium pupils and will work in partnership with families, staff and the wider community to ensure that all children’s needs are met.
  • Has a good understanding of Safeguarding procedures and the role of the DSL in school

The Governing Body is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative senior leader with the drive and commitment to help shape the future of our primary & nursery school alongside our new Head Teacher and other established senior and middle leaders.

Berridge Primary School is a popular, vibrant, diverse and inclusive school in inner-city Nottingham.
