DEPUTY HEADTEACHER job summary

The Academy Council are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher of the highest quality to share in the strategic development of the school. The successful applicant will have: o A proven record in whole school leadership and management o Experience in strategic planning for long term school improvement o Vision and motivation to guide staff and pupils o Creative and innovative abilities that enhance a flexible approach to teaching and learning o Experience in curriculum management including organisation, structure and method o Experience in raising standards in teaching, learning, expectation and achievement o Experience in specialist teaching strategies including those catering for ASD, SLD and SEMH o Experience in the continual professional development of all sections of staff o Experience of leading and mentoring teams, individual staff support and in multi-agency environments o A strong commitment to inclusive practices including the promotion of outreach services Brookfields values the diversity of its workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
