City Academy Norwich, a dynamic, single Academy Trust supported by the Bohunt Education Trust in Norwich, opened in state-of-the-art accommodation in September 2012, having been an Academy since 2009, and has a wealth of modern facilities.
We have grown in pupil numbers over the last two years as a result of improved reputation with a year 7 cohort of 150. We are already operating a waiting list and we were oversubscribed for our September 2020 cohort. When full, our Academy will provide education for 900 young people in the local community from ages 11 – 16.
Our ethos is simple: Enjoy, Respect, Achieve.
Above all we value a love of learning and actively promote the characteristics that make lifelong learners such as curiosity, hard work, critical thinking and a thirst for knowledge. We champion values that will ensure our learners make the world a better place including empathy, tolerance and kindness. Our students are empowered and supported which enables them to build life skills such as resilience, confidence and courage. This will help them to overcome obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving their potential.
