Deputy Headteacher job summary

Required for April 2022 (or February if available) The Governors of this St Luke’s Primary Special School are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to contribute to the leadership of this wonderful school.  We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational person who will help to lead the school through its next stage of development.  Our ideal Deputy Head will be someone who can: Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and help develop a forward thinking vision for the school. Work well with a dedicated staff team to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable children with moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and physical disabilities. Communicate and engage effectively with children, staff, families, outside agencies, governors, the wider community and further develop strong links with the secondary special school.
