Main/Upper Pay Range+ TLR (Outer London) for Teacher or

Pay scale SO1 (21-25) for 36.65h/ week; term time plus one week (actual pay: £33,053 - £34,959) for Associate Staff

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and committed full-time Deputy SENCO to support our SENCO to lead and manage the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND) across the school.

There are two key aspects of the role:

1) To assist the SENCO with the day-to-day management of special educational needs, with the aim of raising
the achievement of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
2) To assist the SENCO in promoting Quality First Teaching strategies across the school.

Should the post-holder wish to study for the National Award for SEN Coordination this will be supported by the school.
Our school benefits from and actively contributes to a range of partnerships and we are the lead school for the Bromley Schools’ Collegiate, a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider for primary and secondary teacher training.
