What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a part-time Design & Technology Technician, to join our existing team of three Technicians supporting our Art, Textiles and Food Technology areas. This role is to commence in March 2026.As a Technology Technician you will be required to support departmental colleagues by ordering and preparing resources and equipment and providing support in and out of class. This will include helping to set up resources for each lesson, assisting in the lesson itself – managing resources and equipment or helping smaller groups with key activities - and packing away and tidying up at the end of the lesson.

Previous or relevant/transferable experience is essential. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. The ability to prioritise and provide administrative support is essential. A working knowledge of IT applications and software is advantageous but not essential.

If you have a strong desire to help students of all abilities achieve the best they can, whilst fulfilling your own potential, then we would love to hear from you. You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to ensure the best outcome for our students.
