What skills and experience we're looking for

  • As a Destiny Media Job Coach, you will support students in a real workplace environment (Destiny), providing tailored guidance to help them develop their skills, confidence and independence
  • You will work both one-to-one and with small groups of students as they undertake work-based learning opportunities within the digital and creative industry
  • Alongside supporting students, you will develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, creating meaningful opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in Destiny to develop employability and vocational skills
  • Deliver effective one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Help students build confidence, independence and workplace readiness
  • Develop relationships with businesses operating within digital, creative and media sectors
  • Support students to develop professional behaviours and industry-specific workplace skills
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to relevant College staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Promote positive employer engagement and champion inclusive employment opportunities
